The Mauritius Bankers Association (MBA) hosted its Golf Trophy on July 5 at Tamarina Golf Club, bringing together members of the banking sector for a day of sport, camaraderie, and networking away from the boardroom.
Participants enjoyed a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the event, reflecting the strong sense of community within the industry.
Beyond the friendly spirit of the day, golf is a discipline that demands vision, precision, strategy, and technicity, qualities not unlike those required in banking itself. This first edition of the MBA Golf Trophy offered members a fitting occasion to bring these shared values onto the course.
Congratulations go to the day’s top performers: Vincent Chui, who took first place, followed by Vimal Naikeny in second and Gervais Gua in third, each recognised for an excellent performance on the course.
The Challenge Trophy for this inaugural edition was awarded to Vincent Chui from ABSA, crowning an outstanding overall performance.
