Silver Bank Limited

The journey for Silver Bank Ltd began when it received its licence from the Bank of Mauritius on 11 November 2021, following the acquisition of the former BanyanTree Bank.

The acquisition created an opportunity for the emergence of a new niche player in the Mauritius banking landscape and, through the capitalisation of the former BanyanTree Bank, we were able to fully protect the deposits of the former bank. We now look forward to a promising future with a focus on private banking and wealth management which have a vital role to play in the development of the region and Africa.
